Here is a side by side comparison of how The New York Times has profiled Michael Brown — an 18 year old black boy gunned down by police — and how they profiled Ted Bundy, one of the most prolific serial killers of all time.

Source for Brown, Source for Bundy.

And for the sake of science, and passing boards…

Anybody got a cadaver that I can cut up? Or look and poke at for like, a few days? Oh, and plasticized body parts. Oh, and bones. I really need to look at a shit ton of bones right now to study.

People have offered many potential explanations for this discrepancy, but this ad highlights the importance of the social cues that push girls away from math and science in their earliest childhood years.

Watch the powerful Verizon advertisement to really understand what a little girl hears when you tell her she’s pretty.

No…no… Comedy central unfortunately hit the nail on the year and just ouch

This is actually a sad fucking reality. like, a girl in the AF was assaulted and her rapist got Airman of the year. Airman. Of. The. Year.

and people wonder why I hate being in the military. it’s all bureaucracy and corruption.

watch “the invisible war” on Netflix.

I’ve seen that, great documentary, sad truth :(

I am based out of Lackland so I am always hearing shit about the basic training scandals. My friend’s niece was thinking of joining the Air Force and she said she was nervous and asked why she said she was afraid of being sexually assaulted. that makes me so sad that that is the thing people associate with the uniform now. disgusting.
