I wish I grew up listening to this lady. I don’t know how rock and roll and all this old school music came into my life but I’m sure glad. Certainly wasn’t my friends or my parents but somehow I got introduced to this realm of awesome. Janis Joplin, you’re pretty fuckin’ rad.

So there’s this thing going around tumblr getting all graphic and detailed about the crucifixion of Jesus. Whether I’m a believer or not is the issue because either way I hate when people lie. Not saying that what this man went through wasn’t terrible because… if it DID happen it IS terrible. I’m not trying to downplay the whole getting nailed to the cross through the wrists thing because I’m sure its terrible unfathomable pain… but how is the person who wrote that crap gonna say that when he was nailed and hung his tendon ripped from a muscle that EXTENDED FROM THE WRIST TO THE SHOULDER? There is NO such muscle. In order for that to happen you need a muscle that expands over 3 joints. No such thing. Nice try, spam forwarding, fb annoying, tumblr reblogging Christians. Maybe you should just volunteer instead.
